Is My Saturday Night Pizza Habit Kosher?

Welcome back to the FAKosherQ!

Our Executive Rabbinic Director, Rabbi Aaron D. Mehlman, gets asked many, many, many questions regarding the Kashrus of his National Kosher Supervision certified establishments. In each segment of the FAKosherQ, we will feature one question asked to the Rabbi with his response.

***If there is a particular question you would like to see featured here, please EMAIL US at info@nationalkoshersupervision.com!

Q. I am inquiring about Sabas pizza both on the east and west side.

What time do they turn on their ovens after shabbos, and does someone check in on them Saturday night before they turn on the oven.

Thanks!

Amir G.

A. Hi

Both stores have a Mashgiach Temidi so nothing can be ignited/put on before the Mashgiach arrives

Both locations have their respective Mashgichim arrive soon after shabbos (they live locally) and then baking begins.

Enjoy!

Rabbi Aaron D. Mehlman
