MANHATTANVILLE COFFEE
We founded Manhattanville Coffee because we love creating neighborhood spaces where people from all walks of life can meet, work and socialize.
Our shops offer a warm inviting upscale coffee house vibe, with quality coffee, teas, fresh juice and a line of sandwiches and pastries.
When we opened our Crown Heights location (167 Rogers Avenue, Brooklyn), we discovered a high demand for Kosher certification – even though we are located in a very diverse part of the neighborhood.
We chose National Kosher Supervision after meeting with Rabbi Aaron D. Mehlman. He is very knowledgeable about both the restaurant industry and the Kashrus field, and he was able to show us how to easily make some small adjustments to our menu and process to meet the Kosher standard of the organization.
We do not cook anything on site, and all products that we serve are purchased by us with a Kosher Certification that Rabbi Mehlman approves. Our produce is all purchased pre-checked, or checked and washed on site by the experienced kosher supervisors of National Kosher Supervision. This, combined with regular visits by the kosher inspectors who spot check all of our products and processes, allows us to be confident that we are providing our clientele with strictly kosher fare in the environment we created.
